Reckless Weapons Fire in Appleton by a Felon - September 10, 2016
Knox
County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a call just before 5 o’clock on the 10th
regarding a neighbor on Fishtown Rd. in Appleton firing his gun off the deck of
a residence. According to witnesses,
this wasn’t the first time the suspect has done this. The person doing the shooting was identified
as Lance Huff, 40, of Appleton. In an interview with Huff, he admitted that he was
intoxicated, but denied shooting a gun.
Based on witness statements and evidence gathered after Deputies obtained a search warrant for the residence, Huff was arrested and charged with Terrorizing-Class D, Discharge of a Firearm within 300 ft. of a residence, Class E and two Class C felonies of Reckless conduct with a firearm, and Possession of a Firearm by a prohibited person due to being convicted of a previous felony.
Huff remains at Knox County Jail with bail set at $5,000 cash.
