The County of Knox is currently accepting applications for one temporary
full-time patrol deputy to be assigned to the North Haven island patrol. The
Deputy assigned to work on North Haven will be provided with housing and will
be required to work closely with municipal officials and the residents of the
island in a community-policing atmosphere. For more information regarding this

To be eligible for this position, applicants must meet the requirements
for being placed on the Patrol Register. Applicants will be required to
pass a written exam, the standard MCJA physical assessment, an oral board, a
polygraph exam, psychological exam, and an extensive criminal and motor vehicle
background check. The salary range for this position is $17.56 - $23.63/hr.
