Franklin County Sheriff's Office needs help locating Matthew Earl Allen

The Franklin County Sheriff's Office is seeking Matthew Earl Allen, a 37 year old male on numerous warrants out of Franklin County, Kennebec County and Biddeford District Courts. Matthew has ties to the Farmington area as well as the Vienna area. If you have information on where Matthew is, please call Franklin Regional Communications Center at (207) 778-6140 or use our anonymous tip line by texting the word "FRANKTIP" followed by the information you have to the number 274637 which spells CRIMES.

Sheriff's Log - February 7 - 13, 2016

The Knox County Sheriff's office received 293 calls for service from February 7 thru 13, 2016. Those calls that are not listed below include agency assists, animal problems, bail and warrant checks, business and residential alarms, business and residential property checks, check-ins, citizen assists, civil disputes, crisis interventions, death investigations, nuisances complaints, court paper service, motor vehicle crashes, police information, suspicious persons and circumstances, traffic hazards, and traffic stops. An arrest or summons does not constitute a finding of guilt. An individual charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at criminal proceedings.

February 7

Following a traffic stop in Union, Deputy Scott Redmun summoned Thomaston Legg, 26, of Union, for speed.

Following a bail check in Saint George, Dep. Arthur Smith summoned Troy Crane, 51, of St. George, for violation of conditional release.

February 9

Following a warrant check in Rockland, Dep. Nathaniel Jack arrested Aaron Hornbeck-Fielder, 37, of Portland, for two active arrest warrants.

Following a traffic stop in Rockland, Jack summoned Timothy Silva, 29, of Rockland, for operating an unregistered vehicle over 150 days and failure to provide evidence of insurance.

Following a warrant check in Rockland, Detective Dwight Burtis arrested Duane Natale, 37, of South Thomaston, for three active arrest warrants.

Dep. Paul Spear responded to a reported protection order violation in Cushing, the incident is under investigation.

Following a traffic stop in Warren, Jack summoned Evan Winchenbach, 28, of Waldoboro, for criminal speed.

February 10

Following a warrant check in Rockland, Jack arrested Jennifer Porter, 38, of Warren, for one active arrest warrant.

Jack responded to a report of a theft in Warren, the incident is under investigation.

Following a warrant check in Rockland, Spear arrested Heath Prior, 31, of Cushing, for three active arrest warrants.

Following a bail check in Washington, Dep. Jeremy Joslyn summoned Sharon Cross, 33, of Washington, for violation of conditional release.

Lieutenant Reginald Walker, Sergeant Patrick Polky, Joslyn and Redmun responded to a report of a robbery in Union, the incident is under investigation.

Following a traffic stop in Owls Head, Spear summoned Katherine Hamel, , of, for failure to provide evidence of insurance.

February 11

Jack responded to several reports of motor vehicle burglaries in Union and Appleton, the incidents are under investigation.

Following a traffic stop in Warren, Smith summoned George C. Hall & Sons, of Rockland, for failure to display valid inspection.

Smith responded to a report of an assault in Rockland. Joshua Mcgee, 32, of Portland, was summoned for assault and disorderly conduct. Eldon Bennett, 32, of Rockport and Aaron Hornbeck-Fielder, 37, of Portland, were summoned for disorderly conduct.

Following a traffic stop in Union, Joslyn summoned Benjamin Pollis, 22, of Warren, for operating after suspension, attaching false registration plates, speed, and failure to provide evidence of insurance.

Jack responded to a report of a burglary in Appleton, the incident is under investigation.

Following a traffic stop in Thomaston, Spear summoned Carlton Elliott, 27, of Waldoboro, for operating after license suspension.

February 12

Following a warrant check in Rockland, Det. Justin Twitchell arrested Joseph Marble, 25, of Rockland, for an active arrest warrant.

Following a traffic stop in Union, Smith summoned Saralyn Burgess, 33, of Union, for speed.

Dep. Justin Hills conducted a traffic detail on North Haven, no arrests or summonses reported.

Following a traffic stop in Hope, Redmun summoned Michelle Pease, 35, of Hope, for failure to produce evidence of insurance.

Following a traffic stop in Thomaston, Spear summoned Casey Kruger, 31, of Rockland, for operating a motor vehicle with an expired registration over 150 days.

February 13

Following a bail check in Friendship, Joslyn arrested Kevin Weeks, 29, of Friendship, for a violation of conditional release. Joslyn also summoned Weeks for furnishing liquor to minors and furnishing a place for minors to consume liquor.

Overnight Drug & Alcohol Party - February 13, 2016

Three people were arrested during an early morning party in Friendship. Acting on information of a potential bail violation, Knox County Deputies, Maine Drug Agents and Police Officers from Waldoboro PD and Thomaston PD, responded to a residence on Back River Road in Friendship and found a large party.

Upon arriving at the residence, Deputies found approximately 25 people, with ages ranging from 17 - 30 years old. Several people were attempting to hide themselves and various contraband items. Several individuals were being uncooperative with law enforcement and provided false names and dates of birth, making the situation more difficult to control. As Deputies gained control, they were able to identify those in attendance and make the situation safe.

Reginald Perreault, 30, of Warren, was arrested for unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs.

Kevin Weeks, 29, of Friendship, was arrested for a violation of conditional release and a probation violation.

Matthew Christ, 23, of Bristol, was arrested for a probation violation.

Weeks was also later summoned for providing a place for minors to consume liquor and providing liquor to minors.

The incident is still under investigation and additional charges may result.

Following a traffic stop in St. George, Dep. John Hansen summoned Andrew Elwell, 21, of St. George, for criminal speed.

Dep. Scott Redmun, Dep. Arthur Smith and Sgt. Patrick Polky responded to the report of an assault in Friendship. Redmun arrested Christopher Delano, 52, of Friendship, for assault and violation of conditional release.

February 02

Following a bail check, Dep. Nathaniel Jack summoned Stephen Little, 50, of Warren, for violation of conditional release.

Following a traffic stop in Cushing, Hansen summoned Hilarie Benner, 34, of Cushing, for failure to produce evidence of insurance.

Following a check for a wanted person in Warren, Redmun arrested David Beaster, 54, of Warren, on one active arrest warrant.

Following a motor vehicle crash on Vinalhaven, Dep Robert Potter summoned Richard Harwood, 26, of Vinalhaven, for operating without a driver’s license.

February 03

Hansen conducted a traffic detail in Cushing. No summonses or arrests reported.

Following a traffic stop in South Thomaston, Hansen summoned Eric Pray-Rahkonen, 21, of So. Thomaston for speed.

Following a check for a wanted person in Warren, Joslyn arrested Chasity Keizer, 35, of Warren, on two active arrest warrants.

February 04

Following a traffic stop in Union, Jack summoned Adam Doherty, 31, of Camden, for operating after license suspension.

Detective Justin Twitchell responded to a report of a sex offense in Hope. The incident is under investigation.

Lieutenant Reginald Walker responded to a report of a theft in Owls Head. The incident is under investigation.

Following a check for a wanted person in Hope, Dep. Paul Spear arrested James Kingsbury, 38, of Hope, on two active arrest warrants.

Sgt. Matthew Elwell, Spear, Joslyn and Jack responded to a report of a domestic assault in Warren. Joslyn arrested Eliot Boyce, 45, of Warren, for domestic violence assault.

February 05

Following a traffic crash in Owls Head, Smith summoned Howard Leino, 65, of Owls Head, for imprudent speed.

Following a traffic stop in Warren, Joslyn arrested Matthew Dodge, 34, of Jefferson, displaying a fictitious inspection sticker and unlawful possession of scheduled drugs.

February 06

Following a traffic stop in Friendship, Smith summoned Noah Martin, 18, of Thomaston, for failure to display current inspection.

Sgt. John Palmer responded to a report of an assault in Rockland. Palmer summoned Wyatt Chapdelaine for assault.

Dep. Justin Hills conducted a traffic detail on North Haven. No summonses or arrests reported.

Following a traffic stop in Warren, Joslyn summoned Charles Martz, 39, of Searsmont, for inadequate headlights and inadequate license plate lights.

While passing through Rockland, Joslyn observed a fight in progress. Joslyn arrested Thomas Shorey, 37, of Friendship, for violation of probation.
